What made you apply DataTjejs board?
As a student, I want to be able to broaden my network and work with something I am passionate about - to be able to promote gender equality in working life. During my years as an active student, I have wanted to get involved in something outside of my studies that I find developing and challenging, which led me to the board in DataTjej. To apply to DataTjej felt like an obvious choice as the organization raises important messages for us in the IT industry and that it contributes to a more equal society for all of us.
What do you study or work with?
I am studying my last year at Uppsala University to become a system developer. After my degree, I aim to move to Stockholm and start my future career.
What is the best thing about DataTjej?
The best thing about this organization is to be able to work together with other committed and creative women where we all strive for a common goal. Being able to interact and exchange ideas and opinions with the other members I also find very rewarding. This makes me both develop as a person and to create a greater experience.
What is the most fun thing about your studies / work?
The most fun of my studies is definitely all the people I have gotten to know over the years. I have made many new friends who have gilded my years in school and without them the years would probably not have gone as fast as they did.
What other interests do you have?
When I am not hanging out with friends and family, I am often found in the gym. Training is an important part of my life and has made me a real competitive person in many areas. I also hold animals and nature close to my heart and like to go on adventures and trips to
explore new things. When my energy has subsided, I like to crawl down on the couch to watch some youtube clips, listen to music or watch a TV series, with company and some popcorn, this is even better.
